Doctor Visit

I go to the doctor next friday-July 8th! I am feeling so excited, overwhelmed, and nervous! Stewy and I have been waiting so long for this that it seems so surreal! We have already started looking around at cribs and crib sets! My doctor, I'm convinced anyway, is a genius! Only 4 months of my medication and it happened! Everyone is told in my family, Stewy's family, our close friends, and of course the ladies I work with! Soon all of our town will know! I know it sounds petty but I can't wait to put it on facebook to make it "facebook official!"

We did it!

My frustrations are FINALLY over! My husband and I are now expecting a wonderful little bundle of joy in March. March 5th as of right now anyway! My dad's birthday! We are beyond excited! My family is told, his family is told, and our closest friends are told! I get to start decorating our spare room now! I know we should probably wait until we know the gender but that's too far and I can't NOT shop!

Not happy!

I tested before I started my cycle because my boss told me I should. Well, I shouldn't have listened to her! I am disappointed. If I am late then I will test again. But this heartbreak is starting to be too much for me.

The Doc

All she did was give me a years worth of my metformin. But! When I went to walmart to get it I got a pack of 2 pregnancy tests. They can sense up to 6 days before your missed period. I am debating on weather or not I should do one today or tomorrow? Hmmm.... :\

Going to the doctor!

So...my metformin is gone today and I have to go to the doctor for a check up. I am so nervous! I have been getting really bad heart burn after every single thing I eat. This morning I ate cereal and I am in heart burn hell right now! I will update after the doctor!

Emotional

Okay! Why is it that every commercial I watch is about babies or pregnancy?! Maybe its coincidence or maybe God is giving me a sign to test!? Either way, I am going to stay strong and wait! But every single one of theses commercials makes me want to cry!

Going Crazy

Last night, Stewy and I were laying in bed and he turns over, faces me, and presses on my belly ever so gently, and says....I think you're pregnant. It made me go crazy! Today, I have been having annoying cramps in the middle of my stomach. I am not sure if this is a symptom or what the deal is. I just wish I could fast forward these next few days...just so I can see for sure. I haven't been tanning because I am just scared about "what if." Oh well...the wait continues!

My Story

First of all, I am starting this blog to document my obsession that I am having right now. All weekend I have been scoping out every single "Mommy-to-be" website that is known to mankind. Its actually quite addictive but also quite annoying! My husband and I have been trying to get pregnant since we got married in June of 2009! A long time, I know! It seems like eternity to me, especially when every woman I know is getting pregnant at the drop of a pin.

This past February I finally got up the courage to go see a NEW doctor. The one I had before was a nurse practioner and my husband didn't seem to think she knew what she was talking about. Every single word that came out of her mouth was BIRTH CONTROL! And, NEWS FLAST, that's the LAST thing I want to take when I WANT to get PREGNANT!

So, this new doctor didn't have to go through the whole "meeting stages" that an obgyn usually would. I told her my issues and she KNEW exactly what it was! It was as if the Heavens opened up and rejoiced with a burst of light!! She told me I have a small case of Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS). Well...that would explain why I hadn't gotten pregnant yet! I was having abnormal periods that would last FOREVER! So, obviously I wasn't ovulating. She put me on Metformin and told me the experience of one of her other patients who was taking it.

The girl was on birth control because she DIDN'T want to get pregnant! Doctor told her she had PCOS, gave her metformin to regulate her and BAM!!! She was pregnant within a month of taking her it AND her birth control!!

So, needless to say, I have been on a baby kick ever since taking it. I actually had my FIRST normal period on April 12. The Baby Fever has really kicked in VERY HEAVILY since then!

I am actually feeling some symptoms but that could just be in my head. I guess I will just have to wait and see!!
